OCTAVIA “Tavia” Treatment Coordinator and Insurance Specialist

Octavia graduated as a “Dean’s Scholar” from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. She has over ten years of experience in customer service, and cherishes the friendly relationships she has established with parents and patients.

She enjoys diverse ethnic foods and cooking for her husband and family.

LAURA Office Manager and Insurance Specialist

Laura is a “Dean’s Scholar” graduate from San Jose State University.

She has a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and a BS in Criminology. She has worked for Dentistry for Children of Santa Clara since 1999. She enjoys the tremendous sense of purpose to be a part of and to observe the growth and development of our patients. And she also thrives on the bright smiles she sees every day. Laura is married and the mother of one son.

AILENE R.D.A.

Ailene attended dental school at Centro Escolar University of Manila, Philippines for six years prior to immigrating to the United States.

She is a Registered Dental Assistant with Certification in Coronal Polishing. Ailene says: “I enjoy working with children because I feel that it is with them that I can make a difference. I help them get passed their fears and anxieties, and try my very best to make their dental visit as pleasant as possible.”

She is married with two sons, and enjoys her family time.

CELIA R.D.A.

Celia hails from England, where she worked as a dental assistant for 13 years. She then returned to school and graduated as a Dental Hygienist, which she practiced for three years. Her family relocated to California, where she graduated from the Dental Assisting program at San Jose City College. She is licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant with Certification in Coronal Polishing. Celia says: ” I joined the team at Dentistry for Children of Santa Clara in 2006, and am enjoying the challenges and delights of working with our young patients.” Living locally in Santa Clara with her husband and daughter, Celia devotes all of her remaining efforts to school and home.
