Parents are welcome

We welcome the presence and participation of a supportive parent in the treatment room. While many offices require parents to remain separate from their children, at Dentistry for Children of Santa Clara we believe that you know your child best, and can help us to provide a warm and secure environment for your child’s treatment. You are always welcome to be with your child if you and your child desire. Your mere presence can be of great benefit to an anxious or very young child. We ask that you remain strong, calm and supportive of our efforts to help your child.

In order to permit us all to devote our undivided attention to your child, it is essential that you not bring other children into the treatment room with your child patient. If you have other young children to care for, please arrange for another responsible adult to be available.

Parents are part of our team. Together we can help your child to feel safe and secure while we accomplish the necessary treatment goals.
